These options are “four for five” (work for 4 years followed by one year of leave) and “two for two and a half years” (work for 2 years, followed by 6 months of leave). At AUT, we want to be a place where people love to work and learn – that`s why we offer a number of opportunities to help you grow. Our employees can participate in workshops, programs and events on topics such as public speaking, resilience, guided tour and tutoring. If you have chosen to pay KiwiSaver contributions on your salary, AUT will align the contributions at 3%. As an employee at AUT, you can expect many benefits and services. And if you are over 65 and have been at KiwiSaver for over 5 years, we will continue to pay the employer`s contribution percentage. All AUT employees can use our staff support program. Employees who have personal issues regarding their work or private life may receive counselling interviews about the program. You can also use other AUT facilities and services.
Some of them are as follows: we can offer flexible work opportunities where feasible: full-time permanent workers can also apply for a special leave program in which you work 80% for a fixed period. You then benefit from paid leave. You can use AUT`s three gyms and fitness centers free of charge if you are a permanent collaborator. These include group fitness classes. Our employees can study at the AUT without paying tuition fees. This is subject to the authorization of your supervisor, as it must be work-based and may depend on the hours you work. We support initiatives such as in-house and outsourced training and scholarships. You also benefit from time and resources for professional development if you are a permanent employee or if you have a fixed-term contract of more than 6 months. At AUT, we value people and their time, because our people are the key to our success.
A true work-life balance is important and we are committed to your professional and personal development.
